Pediatric Nutrition Therapy
60 min Pediatric Assessment: $175 45 min Follow up assessment: $125
Our pediatric nutrition therapy is individualized, evidence based and grounded in understanding your child’s dietary needs. We work with children (1-17 years old) and their parents to address nutrition concerns across all stages of development.
What to expect
Our 60 minute Pediatric Nutrition Therapy sessions include a thorough review of your child’s medical history, dietary habits, food preferences, and eating behaviors. We will work with you and your child to create realistic strategies that support healthy growth, reduce stress at mealtimes, and to build confidence around food - so feeding your child feels balanced, sustainable and supportive of your family’s life.
Follow up sessions monitor progress and address challenges while providing ongoing support and adjustments as needed to help meet your child’s nutrition goals.
A parent or caregiver must be present throughout pediatric sessions.

Picky eating can be a frustrating aspect of parenting. While we can help to pinpoint barriers that impact your child’s eating habits and may introduce strategies to expand food offerings, ultimately every child is different. Our aim is to provide families with education and support to alleviate stress around picky eating behaviors, and gradually make improvements in food habits.

We do not support dieting for children. Instead, we focus on providing families with nutrition education that helps their child to meet their nutrient needs and goals. We take care to ensure our Nutrition sessions are not shaming or high pressure for children. We want nutrition to be exciting and enjoyable, so that children are more willing to take an active role in their nutrition!

While family sessions are intended to focus on the couple, we understand your child’s diet can be a very important part of the discussion, and is welcomed to be included in broad terms. For dietary recommendations or addressing your child’s specific nutrition concerns, this will require a separate Pediatric Nutrition Assessment.

Nutrition therapy sessions may be eligible for insurance coverage depending on your plan. You may still be responsible for copays, coinsurance, or unmet deductibles. At this time, we are only in-network with United Healthcare.
If we are out-of-network with your insurance, I can provide a superbill for you to submit for potential reimbursement.
